Ipod touch no Wi-Fi signal

Hi my daughter has an ìpod touch. Can only get Wi-Fi when sitting next to the modem. I have tried all the resets etc and was wondering if it is worth fixing the antenna?

You are probably correct that it is the antenna. Whether it is worth repairing depends on the age of the iPod. Probably not for a 5th generation or earlier.
