Missing Delete Account Button iOS14

I am attempting to delete a defunct email account (iPhone 11 iOS14) but the delete button is missing from: Mail>Accounts>"the relevant account"

I have managed to set the status to inactive and recreate the same account again (transferred from IPMAP to a MS Online Exchange account)

NOTE: there is a greyed out message where the delete account button would have been stating: These settings are installed by the profile "The relevant account Secure Mail Setup"

Any advice as to how to get rid of he superfluous account?

Hey docpamij,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

We see from your post that you're having trouble deleting an Outlook account from your mail accounts. We'd be happy to help out.

We want to make sure you're updated to the latest version of iOS 14 and then try again:
