I would need a cheap machine to do some basic video editing and improve my skills with FCP. All the footage will be in 4k.
Will I be able to run FCPX on a mid2011 iMac? (specs below)

You would need Mojave 10.14.6 or later to purchase the application, or work with the trial version. The graphics card is underpowered for 4K media. You might start by trying out iMovie which is quite capable for basic editing.
