Why Safari doesn’t open?

Safari is not working, it doesn’t open at all. Now I don’t have a browser, meaning I can not download anything that might help fix the problem. Do someone have the same problem?

iMac 27″, macOS 10.12

Well, I got the help from Apple support website. I did erase the Macintosh HD and reinstalled it. That did fix the problem. Thank you Apple.
