I cannot update watch series 3 from watchOS 7.0 to 7.0.2, the post here about the issue didn't help.

I tried all the options, also I tried pairing with another phone, deleting everything inside, deactivating passcode, connecting to another network and it just don't update.

Does anybody knows how can I debug in the watch logs and what to look for? or how is the process performed, what is done in the phone and what in the watch, since it is losing internet connection as the error says some connection is broken in the middle, it can also be a timeout caused by the "Preparing" step being busy for a long time.

Please help.

Hi DiegoRA,

We understand you're unable to update your Apple Watch. We're happy to help.

If you haven't already, let's make sure that your iPhone is running the latest iOS available:

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Next step would be to power off your iPhone and then power off your Apple Watch.

Then power on your iPhone and then your Apple Watch.

If you open the Apple Watch app on the iPhone, do you see the software update downloaded in General > Usage > Software Update? If so, are you able to delete that download and then place your watch on the charger and download it once again?

If you are still having issues with updating the Apple Watch after that, then you would want to contact Apple Support directly for assistance: Get Support
