Unable to add new contact on Contacts in Catalina
Ever since I installed Catalina (now version 10.15), Contacts takes a long time to open. When it does, and I try to add a new contact, it does not respond. Any solutions?

Here are some steps that may help.
- Back up your Mac.
- Restart your Mac.
- Quit the Contacts app. Opened System Preferences > Internet Accounts. Turn off Contacts syncing for all accounts. Restart your Mac again. Open the Contacts app.
- If the issue persists, skip to the next step.
- If the issue does not persist, turn on Contacts syncing for one account at a time.
- If you can isolate the issue to a specific account, open Safari. Verify you can sign in to that account from the applicable website and access all important data. Then, you can remove the account and add it again.
- Test from a new user.
- If the issue persists from the new user, reinstall macOS from macOS Recovery.
- If the issue does not persist from the new user, contact Apple Support.
