All photos missing on iPhone and iCloud

I had recently updated to iOS 14 and have not experienced any issues until today when I just checked and I have zero photos on my iPhone or iCloud. I checked my MacBook Pro, iPad, same thing. No photos were hidden, no phots in recently deleted, nothing manually deleted, I do not share my account with anyone and have 2FA setup. Yesterday I had GB's of photos and have monthly iCloud storage plan, even haven taken photos yesterday. I made no changes, iCloud is still enabled, I did not delete anything. I at least made an iCloud backup mid September but to go into Photos and see absolutely nothing, something is awry.

I had gone to iCloud and there was nothing. What was weird is that if these were accidentally deleted they will have shown up on one of my devices at least with deleted items, there wasn't. Two days later, magically, after my post here, all of my photos re-appeared in both iCloud as well as my phone. I did nothing but check my phone and there they all were. Whatever the issue was, it wasn't on this side of the human equation.

We are glad to hear that the issue was resolved and your photos have returned. For the future, you might consider transferring your Photos from your iPhone to your computer.

We see that you're missing all of your photos from your iPhone. We know how important photos are and the memories that go with them, and we'd be happy to provide some information that can help.

We weren't sure by your post, did you log in to iCloud.com and check to see if you could see your photos there? If they are not showing there, they may not be retrievable. However, take a look at this article below for missing photos.
