iPhone videos sound like they're in a wind tunnel

Whenever I make a video recording on apps such as messenger, instagram or snapchat, my videos always sound like I'm in a very windy area, so much so that you can barely hear any other audio. However, this doesn't happen on my regular iphone videos or voice memos.

Any suggestions to fix this are appreciated.
