I bought a stainless Apple Watch 6 with a braided solo loop bracelet and the strap is too big!
I have been informed by an apple employee that I cannot change the strap to a smaller size on its own
I have to replace the watch too.
This is not really an option as the watch is low stock all over the Uk and the strap is too.
I would like to know why I cannot change the strap in its own....

I did this two days later to be informed that I had to bring the boxes for both the watch and the strap back
then both would have to be exchanged this is unacceptable as the stock for the stainless watch and strap and not immediately available and I am now running out of time as the two weeks allowed to change the above is running out.
I just want to change my strap to a smaller size, I think apple has really messed up with this latest option!
