battery is not charging after update to Catalina 10.15.7

I have disabled "Battery Healt Managment" since a while because after introduced this new feature I did run out of battery even with notebook plugged. Yesterday I updated Catalina (10.15.7) and the macbook today have not charged the battery. I needed to restart the computer, unplug and plug again in order to resume battery charging.
