Hi I have a question what happens when you pre order? I want to pre order the new Ipad Air so I was wondering what happens after you pre order.

I will answer for what happens if you order from apple.com, it migth be different if you buy it somewhere else.
First rights after you order you will get a confirmation of your order on email.
And an approximate delivery window. as in from date x to date y for when it will ship.
After a while you might get a more firm estimate.
You can see this status if you sign into "Orders" on the apple store webpage.
You find that up by the shopping bag.
