Drawing perfect shapes with Apple Pencil not working. Can draw imperfect shapes, however they do not turn into perfect shapes. Any suggestions to remedy please?

Thanks chuck_3rd. Was trying to use draw using Pages however discovered this app is not compatible (and why not?). I’m continuing to learn more about Notes having neglected it in the past.
