Touch and hold the “keyboard” key at bottom right of the on-screen keyboard; an options menu will appear. Without lifting your finger, slide your finger to the Dock & Merge option - and then lift your finger from the on-screen keyboard. Alternatively, place a finger on use half of the keyboard - then slide your fingers together.

How to merge a split keyboard
To turn Split Keyboard on or off, go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Split Keyboard.
Hello there,
In order to place your keyboard back to its original position, look at your keyboard, and there you will find a miniature keyboard. Hold on the keyboard until a pop-up appears saying “merge” and “dock and merge”
hope this works!
best regards, Moumen
