Audio and Video don't match up on TV Show downloads

This afternoon I purchased the first season of "The Spectacular Spider-Man" Animated Series on iTunes, and while watching the episode found that each one has an odd glitch were the sound doesn't match up the video, there is a delay in the audio for at least a couple seconds. This is particularly glaring in a show which features action and a sound effect for something like an explosion or a crash doesn't occur until after said event has already happened.

I had to wonder if this had something to do with the latest version of iTunes I downloaded this morning, or if the problem lies with the show itself, since the problem appears when I them on my computer as well on my iPod Touch.

If this is not to place for such a question, please direct me to the proper forum so that hopefully this problem can be resolved.
