Thank you for the followup reply.

Getting tis to Run:

Try the Following:

  • Check Force Quit:

See if something is listed as "(Not Responding)". Go to: Apple Menu > Force Quit...> Select anything ending with "(Not Responding)". Also, which in Force Quit... be sure to select Finder, and Click "Relaunch".

  • Boot into Safe Mode:

When you boot into Safe Mode, only required items load by default, with all settings and caches set aside. So, hold down the shift key upon boot. See what happens when you attempt an install in Safe Mode.

  • Create a New Administrator:

See if creating and logging in as a new administrator does the trick. There may be something misconfigured in your current user - something that is getting in the way. Go to: System Preferences > Users & Groups > Unlock > Click: "+" > Create the new administrator

Un-Mute your Mac.

I see that your Mac is on Mute. On the top, the speaker image is dulled-out. So unmute it. See if that fixes this.

Confirm your Audio:

Is there even any Sound Device installed. If not, there may be no Audio Drivers. To, see that is the case:

Revealing the Audio Connection:

Use this Link: Get System Information for your Mac - Apple Support

First off, see if the camera is even seen:

  1. Hold Down: the Option key
  2. Click: the Apple menu
  3. Choose: Sound
  4. Look For: MacBook MacBook Microphone on the right-half of the window.

Its dulled out because when I change the mac’s output to my interface it doesn’t let me adjust the volume on the Mac, I can only adjust it on the actual interface. So that doesn’t have anything to do with it.

But Just in case I changed the macs output back to its internal speakers. The speaker image isn’t dulled out anymore, but this didn’t fix my issue.

My interface lets me play stuff on my speakers when I use YouTube or play the music on my mac, but for some reason logic takes way too long to initialize.

Audio Issues:

Sometimes when changes are made to the system(i.e. updates), system configurations (i.e. for Audio) become manipulated, technically. So, reset the SMC and NVRAM. Your audio devices may not be being read promptly, so resetting these, all of the ports would be configured to how they should be. It may take up to 3 tries of resetting each. So, be certain you have the time to perform the reset.

  • Get the Drivers:

Contact Logic - Ask them which drivers to get. Do not download the drivers from anywhere than then manufacturer. Elsewise, it may be malware or spyware you end up installing.
