Your iPhone and iPad will only draw the maximum power that they require from the connected Power Adapter. Unless your devices support USB-PD Fast Charge, 12W (i.e, 2.4A @5V) is the maximum draw by your iPhone and iPad - however, they can be connected to a higher output USB Power Adapter without issue.
