My iPhone 8 is stuck with the Apple logo on the screen after trying to download iOS 14 update. I tried resetting in and that didn't work.

I tried hooking it up to my Mac in ITunes but it wouldn’t recognize the phone.
Yes. I did press the correct buttons and it does turn off for a few seconds but then it comes back on with the Apple logo on a black screen and Is frozen.
and did you keep holding til the Restore screen appeared?
