Can I find out if I had apple care on my lost/stolen device

Wondering if you can use my vin number from the box off my phone to see if my iPhone can be replaced because my carrier “sprint” told me i Was covered by Apple.

VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) numbers are for cars. iPhones have serial numbers.


You can enter your iPhone's serial number at: Check Your Service and Support Coverage - Apple Support


It will tell you if you have an active Apple Care+ with Theft or Loss coverage.
