Disable TrueTone on external display

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you have some questions about True Tone on your Mac. True Tone is available on some external monitors, but not all. I especially want to turn off True Tone only for external display.

If it is impossible, can we automatically turn off True Tone when we connect to external display?

Lmk if you figure this out. I've had the same question for a while now. There's got to be a way to script this..

We apologize if we weren't clear. True Tone is either on for all screens or off for all screens. It cannot be on for one screen but off for the other.
