My iPhone X has stopped ringing. I have the latest iOS update. It is still vibrating etc. but no ring tone. I have tried to change all settings related to silence and also restarted the phone. All without result.
Under " silence" I can chose between "always" and "when Iphone is locked" (translated from Swedish). There is no other option. And what does it mean in this
context that the phone is "locked"?

1) Check the silent button above the volume buttons. Do you see red? If so, move the slider.
2) Is Do Not Disturb on? Go to Settings > Do Not Disturb. Is it turned on? Check the times.
3) Go to Settings > Notifications > try flipping the options on and off
4) Go to Settings > Sound & Haptics. Change the "Text Tone" to a different sound. Does it make a sound? If not, see this:
