How do I convert FROM a monthly iCloud plan TO annual?
(Applies to IOS as well as Mac devices, and family plan, of course.)
Apple seems to encourage only the reverse direction, annual to monthly-- which I don't want.
Apple no longer offers annual billing plans for iCloud storage. Those that currently have an annual plan (from several years ago) will be converted to monthly if they make any change to their plan. See: iCloud storage plans and pricing - Apple Support

A good example of Apple offering _less_ service than before.
Uniformity for them, less flexibility for the customer.
