“Touch to return to call” when I’m not in a call

Hello,

When using my iPhone 6, I occasionally have a “Touch to return to call” banner displayed on my screen. This happens when I’m not currently in a call.

Hey there ChickenOnACorn,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're seeing “Touch to return to call” when you're not on a call. We're happy to provide some assistance.

You mentioned that this occurs sometimes when you're not on a call; were you previously on a call when you notice this? Does this occur after using a specific app?

This may seem like a simple step, but have you restarted your device? Restarting your device can resolve unexpected issues. Take a look here on how to restart your iPhone:

Restart your iPhone

Have a great day!
