I received error message 4013 when attempting to restore my ipod touch.

My son locked his ipod touch enough times that it needs to be restored. When connecting to iTunes were receive a 4013 error message after iTunes downloads updated software, restarts the device and attempts to install it. We have the latest version of iTunes installed on the computer. Any advice?
