I can’t get the setup of my account to iTunes Store to work

I can not get my new Apple ID to sign in to the iTunes Store so I can download apps

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 14

Try -- If you can't connect to the App Store, iTunes Store, or other Apple services - Apple Support.
