Slow iMac, Mac-Mini with Fusion Drive (after 2012)

If you find your iMac or Mac mini (with a fusion drive) has become noticeably slower, then check to see if your Fusion Drive is working "properly". Here is a link to Apple's communique "How to fix a split Fusion Drive"

But the quick method to determine if this fix "may" apply to you is to...

Choose Apple menu  > About This Mac, then click Storage

If you see this "Fusion Drive" (then this post does not apply to you. Your fusion drive is working as it should):

Depending on your Mac (iMac, Mac Mini) only the words matter...here.

Though there can be scenarios where owner's want this immediately above scenario; if you are here, you likely don't. As you can see I was not using any Flash Storage and my Mac wasn't as flashy-quick as I new to be before.
