I cannot open certain websites over wifi

I have internet access, but I cannot open certain websites over any wifi connection when using my Macbook. These websites are not small or untrustworthy, and include Disney+, Netflix, Spotify and Amazon. I have tried unsuccessfully on both Firefox and Safari.

I can access the websites over wifi on my iPhone, as can my parents on their iPad. But I can only open them on my Macbook if I am directly connected to the internet by an ethernet cable.

I have removed all the wifi connections and logged back in, which has had no effect.

Can anybody offer advice or a solution?

Good day JosephKent!

We see you're having some connection issues, and we'll be happy to help work with you further on this.

Does this happen with other browsers, such as Safari? Do you have any security software installed on your computer?

How long has this issue been present on your device?

Let us know what you find, and we'll take it from there.

All the best.
