Does the "Find My" feature have 2 major flaws?

I have an XR running iOS 13.6.1.

Scenario #1:

If I have lost my iphone and a stranger gets it. If they are familiar with iPhones, they can just swipe down to get to the Control Center (even with the phone locked). And then they can tap the icon to put it into Airplane mode. Thereby disabling any chance for me to find it.

Isn't that correct or am I missing something?

And is there any way to remove those 4 Communication Icons (Airplane, WiFi, Cellular, Bluetooth) from the upper right corner of Control Center?

Scenario #2:

Would be if a stranger found it and just powered it down? Which is also doable while the phone is locked.

Again, maybe I don't really understand how things would play out in a real scenario?

Thanks for your help in advance.

You are all correct. No you can't remove those items from the lock screen.

Someone can also remove the sim card as well.

There is no proof system to prevent things from happening.

You buy an alarm for your car someone can still break in and steal items from it or your car.

You put a lock on your bike, someone can use a tool to cut it.

You get my drift.
