Auto Pause feature in Apple Watch

Does Auto Pause feature work only for Running workout type or others as well? I choose racquetball workout when I play and often forget to pause the workout between games.

Apple watch auto pause function i have the option auto pause set for workouts. When i start a walking or cycling workout, everything works well, but when i manually activate pause, the workouts do not restart automatically when moving again, until you push the resume button, sometimes very frustrating if you take a longer pause. Can ‘t the apple watch detect automatically that you are moving again when in a workout session ? i also don ‘t think that auto pause works each time, but maybe i don t understand how it works 😀

Auto pause on Apple Watch during walk breaks When you take a walk break with the Apple Watch workout app does it pause. I have been using Strava but the app sucks and I want to start using the Apple Fitness app.

Auto pause is for running only but you can pause any workout by pressing the side button and digital crown at the same time.
