I noticed lately that the Photos app shows kinda "blurry" photos, but when I zoom in just a bit, the photo becomes sharpened the way it should be.

Are you using iCloud Photos?
If yes, make sure, that "keep originals" is selected in the settings on your phone.
Otherwise only a smaller version will be saved on your phone, to save storage space. Only if you bring up the photo, the original solution of the picture will be downloaded onto your device.

No I'm not using iCloud photos, never did but I don't think I ever had this problem.
Maybe because I was not short on storage? Now I have about 9 gigs of free space.
What if I cleaned some space? Will the photos still be blurry?
Did you already install the iOS 14.1. update?
Having not enough free storage space on your device can also cause these issues.
I updated it now.
Well, maybe it did occur but didn't notice it before, I don't know.
I'll free storage and look at it again.
