But unless its battery has been replaced since 2016, the battery is four years old. Also, what's the Maximum Capacity % here?...

If you bought it new 2 months ago it should have been from an Apple approved reseller. Apple stopped selling them some time ago.

In such case it is under Apple warranty (USA) or Retailer warranty backed by Apple (Europe)


In either case look in Settings, General, About and on line 5 it will tell you when the warranty expires.


If you got it elsewhere you may have a problem and it may not even be new.
