iOS 12 update comes with memoji but this feature is not supported for iPhone 6 Plus running on 12.4.8?

In order to take advantage of the Memoji feature included in iOS 12, you would also need a compatible iPhone which supports Face ID. Face ID is available on the iPhone X or later. You can learn more here: Use Memoji on your iPhone or iPad Pro
