Logic Pro X system requirements

Hi to all.

i am buying a MacBook Pro for my granddaughter to run Logic Pro X.

Can anyone advise whether the following spec will be ok?

2.50 GHz Intel Dual-Core i5 processor

8GB DDR3 1600 MHz memory

Intel HD Graphics 4000

1TB SSD

It’s quite an old model - 2012.

Thanks a lot

This model is not the fastest, your granddaughter may experience some cpu overloads here and there, but it's possible make decent productions with it. I have a Mid 2012 MacBook, only a tiny bit faster and I love it. Most important, make sure it's possible to install Logic 10.5, which requires at least MacOS Mojave 10.14.6.
