iPad orientation

i have an iPad 7. Ever since it was new the automatics orientation has not worked correctly. When I open the iPad the home screen is sideways. I have to rotate the iPad 180 degrees to get the display the rotate the the correct orientation.

only happens when I open the iPad.

app all seem to be fine?

iPad screen rotate not working properly Recently, I’ve been facing this problem where my iPad screen doesn’t rotate when I tilt it. After checking some of the things that might cause this problem like screen-lock and lag, the screen still won’t rotate. My iPad is still somewhat in good condition and doesn’t lag so I’m guessing that the problem might be caused by the orientation sensors on the iPad. Please help to clarify this if possible.

My iPhone will not rotate the screen 180 degrees I rotate my device and it will show Safari correctly in landscape left or landscape right, but it will not show it in upside down portrait. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

If it’s still under warranty you could make an appointment at an authorized service provider or apple store that may be open in your area. They could diagnose if the gyros are working correctly or if they have issues.
