Screen Time app performance delays post IOS 14 upgrade

I have the iphone XR. I've used screen time for years to monitor/limit what my kids can do on their devices. However, when I upgraded to IOS 14 there was an immediate and negative impact to the performance of screen time settings. The only other bug/issue I have experienced has been some delayed text appearing after I start typing some text messages. But this screen time problem is the big issue.

When I go to settings and select "Screen Time" it can take anywhere from 15 seconds up to 2 minutes of a delay before it presents a list of my kids. I then select one of my kids to view their Screen Time settings and it can take another 15 seconds to 2 minutes for the settings screen to come up. Once that screen comes up it can take up to 2 more minutes for it to actually populate the activity data. Then if my kids need to request their downtime to be extended it can some times take up to 30-45 minutes for their request to come through....but then I need to go through the process mentioned above to get into Screen Time settings and approve the request.

To troubleshoot I verified that my kids were updated to IOS 14 as well. I even updated devices to 14.0.1 in hopes that it would resolve this bug. Any thoughts on things to try????
