I've lost pairing for my AppleTV remote.

Is there a way to re-pair the remote? When I push any button on the remote, the indicator light flashes so there is some signal reception....just no action on screen.

Remote does not want to pair My 3rd gen apple tv was just damaged and so i got another one but without a remote. So i have been trying to pair my old remote with no success. When I press the menu and right button and wait for 6 seconds nothing happens it flicks the light only
