Force 5GHz WiFi on macOS

I have the same SSID for 2.4 and 5GHz. Due to reasons there is no way to change SSID or disable 2.4. The neighborhood is crowded with 2.4 frequencies, I'd really like to use 5GHz.

I've tried the airport for Terminal but isn't consistent.

sudo /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Apple80211.framework/Resources/airport --channel="my_wifi48"

Do you have any other ideas?

Thank you!
