If you have the free (or paid) subscription, you can watch on other devices, signed in with the same Apple ID

Your subscription is for Apple TV +  which is Apple Original content only.

The shows included in your subscription will have the tv+ logo on them - those are free with your subscription. 

Movies that say rent or buy are from the iTunes Store and not free. 

Other channels within the App might require a separate subscription.

No, you CANNOT watch all movies and content free for 1 year. The free subscription only apples to Apple TV+ which is an Apple streaming service consisting of all Apple original content. Apple TV+ content is free, nothing else is. When you launch the Apple TV app, select Watch Now and scroll down to the black Apple TV+ icon. Anything you find in there is part of your free 1 year subscription.
