iOS 14.1 software update wifi issue with iPhone

I first got a message my Wi-Fi and phone service would not work until I updated to 14.1. I updated, then got a "verifying update" message that would not end. After letting it idle for hours like this I finally contacted Apple. Tried the hard shut down which would not work. Nothing would shut the phone off. Was told to make an appt. to have tech fix. That was going to take 4 days. Let the phones battery run completely to the point it shut the phone off and in the morning re-booted it. Had to re-do the update. But now it is working fine. Long process.

After updating to 14.1 my iphone 11 Max won't stay connected to my WiFi. I tried the network reset and it didn't help. Spoke with apple tech that said it was my wireless router from comcast, exchanged it for a new one this morning and nothing changed.

No, do this settings > general > reset > reset network settings. Will need to reinput known wifi passwords again.

Same here - since the update my phone and iPad won’t automatically hook into our wifi. I can go on manually, but it appears to drop out at times and then I have to manually join again (if I notice).

I was so excited to see the new 14.2 update last night, hoping it would fix the WiFi issue caused by 14.1 update. Well I am not excited this morning it has turned a bad situation to a Really, Really Bad Situation. Now when I can get connected to the WiFi it only last for seconds. Apple HELP us get the problem Fixed!!

settings > general > reset > reset network settings and re-enter passwords does not solve the issue

I am having the same issue and tried the reset multiple times and it is still not working.
