Apple Weather app--- caution using for Air Quality!
This is not a question but a comment as Apple does not allow comments for their apps in the App Store.
What is the caution? When looking up Air Quality for any location read the small print that tells you the exact location where the reading was obtained. If you are looking for info about a smaller town that location might be different and with a different air quality. This week I looked up Mammoth Lakes, California, and the Air Quality Index was 53 (Good) so we decided to go on vacation there. However, air quality on our way in Lone Pine, Big Pine, and Bishop was very poor. We experienced the same in Mammoth Lakes, our eyes were itching and there was smell of ash. The Weather App still showed Air Quality Good but when I checked weather.com it showed Hazardous and we had to abort our vacation. Only then I noticed the small print in the Apple App which said the the air quality data were for Yosemite Valley on the other side of the Sierras which was completely different from Mammoth Lakes.
