Reddit ard number

When I got a refund to my Apple Pay credit card this afternoon I noticed on the receipt that the last four numbers of the card on the receipt so not match those in my card.

When I got my receipt for a returned store item today I noticed that the last four numbers of my card printed on my receipt do not match those on my card. I don’t understand why this is. Thx.
