hpdevicemonitoring.framework popup

Keep getting popup hpdevicemonitoring.framework will damage your computer. Any ideas how to get rid of it? I did install the Adobe Flash player which I have since uninstalled. Also uninstalled my HP printer but I have had them installed for a long time with no issues.

Step 1)

Do this;

Here's what I did to solve this PER the HP website;

1) Open Finder

2) Click the "GO" menu and select "Go to Folder"

3) paste "~/Library/LaunchAgents" in (do NOT omit the tilde "~" or else you go to the WRONG place)

4) Find "com.hp.devicemonitor.plist" and REMOVE it - right click and select "move to trash"

5) Reboot - boom the problem is gone.<---- REMEMBER TO DO THIS

then

Install the HP Smart application to make sure your printer still works;
