My AirPods sound quality is poor and low

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. If you're experiencing sound quality issues with your AirPods, we'd like to look into this with you.

Does this issue occur across multiple apps or just certain apps that you use for audio? Does it occur in different environments such as indoors or outdoors? If you connect your AirPods to a different device, does the same audio quality issue continue to occur? If it does, you might want to try resetting your AirPods and possibly cleaning them as well.
