Sharing Music library from high sierra to catalina

I have my Music Library on my 2011 IMac on a 1 TB SSD.

Trying to get my new Mac mini 2018 Catalina to use the Music Library and going around and around in circles

The user guides are useless as they do not match to what I have on the screen at and they instruct me to to select options that are not on there.

This used to b really simple now it is hard.

Any ideas please

On your iMac 2011

  1. Go to iTunes > Preferences > Sharing. Enable Sharing checkbox
  2. Select Entire Library or a playlist
  3. Add a password (optional)

On your Mac Mini 2018

  1. Launch the Music app
  2. Click on the drop-down arrow next to “Library” in the sidebar
  3. Choose your iMac library and select to play a music track
