ESPN Apple TV re-authenticate

I see similar questions on this topic and am looking for an answer. My Apple TV gives me the "Playback Could Not Be Started: Needs to re-authenticate" error. How do i fix or get past this? I cant get to my DISH network to try anything and I've checked my ESPN+ account, which is up to date. So....???

However there is no screen/place to then enter the verification code. how do we get this resolved so we can enjoy the service.

You may need to contact the developers of the ESPN app for support on their product.
