Can someone help me delete the apps that I no longer want from my iPad☹️ The regular way of deleting does not seem to work.

Could somebody have set up Screen Time app restrictions on your iPad?
The apps don't jiggle when you long-press on one?
OR
The apps jiggle but the ones you want to delete don't have "X"s?
OR
The ones you want to delete have "X"s but clicking on them doesn't delete them?
OR
Something else?
What happens when you try?
None of them have the “X” in a circle, or just some?

Not all apps are removable. What specific ones are you trying to delete?
Absolutely nothing happens.
The apps jiggle but they don’t have x on them.
I am trying to remove some apps that my granddaughter placed on my iPad. They are not the ones that are not removable.
Actually they all jiggle but none have the X on them.
None of them have the circle with an “ x “ in it.
I can’t delete the apps I no longer want. Can somebody help me?
