MagSafe Charging

I’ve heard before that wireless charging can wear out the battery faster then using a real charger. Will this be the case in the MagSafe addition to the iPhone 12? Or will MagSafe be able to provide a safe and healthy charge to the iPhone 12 battery?

I've not seen wireless charging have any negative effect on the battery in an iPhone to start with. And the MagSafe charging was designed by Apple to be used on the Apple device, so I would not see that it should have any negative effect. I've used wireless Qi compatible charging on my iPhones for a while now, and have not noticed any degradation of the battery.
