Google slides that are linked do not show update option on ipad

I have created a master slides for students that I can update their student copies as necessary. On the computer it works seamlessly, but on the iPad there is not option for students to update linked slides.

On the computer, there is an update symbol when the master is changed, signaling to the user (student) to update.
