I have Xfinity as my internet carrier. I rent the router. I cannot connect to yhe internet because I cant remember my password and user ID. Help I have tried everything.

I’m not clear what user I’d and password you’re even referring to? Is this your WiFi SSID and password? Your Xfinity account userID and password?

If you rent the router, and never changed the admin account on it, the router admin login ID and password may be printed right on the router itself. If it is, you can login to the router itself and set or change the WiFi SSID password.

Have you consulted with Comcast (Xfinity)?
