iPhone genuine aux Jack not working

Ok, I’ve updated both my work iPhone 8+ and personal 8+. I have an apple genuine Jack to aux that I’ve used to play music with my car for years and now after the IOS14 update it doesn’t work with either. I’ve restarted, downloaded updated versions, everything and still doesn’t work on either. Did apple just delete the ability to play music through the Jack via aux? D:

Despite the article being for headphones, there are still good things to check such as debris in the port and other connections. Cheers.
