My Virgin media email stopped sending from the app

Why has my email suddenly stopped sending emails from my Virgin media account?

I tried deleting the account, now cannot add - Cannot connect to SSL


The same thing occurred in 2018 after an IOS update


Has anyone else experienced this?

We rely on our mail accounts quite a bit as well, and understand the inconvenience that comes from not having access to your messages. It also sounds like you've done some really good troubleshooting on your own. To isolate the problem a little more, can you tell us if you're able to access the account from the Virgin Media website, and if so, are you able to send mail from there as well? If you are still getting the error that you can't connect to SSL on your device, you will want to reach out to your email service provider for additional information on the settings:


Mail settings you might need from your email provider


Add an email account to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch


If you can’t send email on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
